INTRODUCTION

Skill acquisition is the ability to be trained on a particular task or function and become expert in it.

The rate of unemployment among the youth in the world is very high, especially in Nigeria. This leads to increase in crime, such as kidnapping, rituals, sex slavery, drug taking and dealings, human trafficking, armed robbery, rape & child molestation.

The desire of Eagles Wings Board & Management is to have a Skill Acquisition Programme on a regular basis, by setting up her own Eagles Wings Development Skills Acquisition Centre (EWDSAC) .

At Eagles Wings, we believe that “A skilled person can survive in any society or environment”. To this end, we have highlighted various vocational, technical & entrepreneurial skills. We believe it can help an individual especially the youth (male & female) and women to survive in hard times such as these.
The skills include:

In 2017, July 31^st – Sept 30^th, Eagles Wings launched out a Skill Acquisition Programme that was a huge success. It was during the school holidays/summer vacation. The turnout was impressive. Married Women, an Hotelier, Teenagers, Primary school kids and the Youth.
